These are among the few spots in central Oslo where one can find the well preserved and inhabited wooden houses built in the 18th and 19th centuries and get an insight to what good old Oslo looked like 🏚
Damstredet and Telthusbakken are 150 and 260m long respectively, which makes it a very easy and charming walk, and gives you this “tourist” feeling that we all miss. We also recommend you to take a few extra minutes to check Kjærlighetsstien (The Love Trail) which connects those two alluring streets 🥰
If you are already in the neighbourhood, you should grab a bite at Mathallen and continue your stroll to Ingens gate, the one with Sunday market and live music at Blå!
